2002 on an 02. 320td compact, 150bhp!. This car has a massive amount of power and still acheives 55-65mpg!. It has just qualified as a one of those greener low CO. emission cars and only cost me £66 TO TAX FOR 6 MNTHS! (finally an affordable nice car to drive thats also kind on the pocket) gleaming black in colour with full black cloth trim. This car is of high spec, including AC, full elec pack, climate pack, business Audio pack, multifunction steering wheel with cruise, air con, to cut it short, theres not much it hasn't got. This BMW is a fantastic car that looks good for all occasions, rolling up to work, very presentable at family events etc, and not too flash to park in town. It has 11 months mot remaining and 5 months tax. Mileage is only just over 100K, low for this model as the mpg of these engines proved a big seller as company cars. It has full service history which is very comprehensive, All work has been done exactly when it should. The car has just had new brakes at my expense. It is due its next service in 7000miles according to the onscreen self managing computer. Have a look through the pics. With styling by Bertone, disc brakes on all four wheels, coil spring and double wishbone front suspension and a de Dion rear axle, the Rivolta's platform chassis was the work of Giotto Bizzarrini, the designer of, among others, the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Lamborghini 350 GT. The Rivolta had a top speed of 142mph and could cover the 0-60mph sprint in eight seconds, making it one of the fastest cars of its class in the world. All subsequent Iso cars were based on the same chassis, as was the very fast Bizzarrini Strada 5300 which was a version of the Iso Grifo made with Renzo Rivolta's blessing. The Lele was introduced in 1969 as a replacement for the Rivolta, but in fact production of the cars overlapped for nearly two years. Bertone was responsible for the body (which has something of the 308 Dino GT4 about it) and 5.8 litre Ford V8 engines were used from 1973. This handsome example from the first year of production is finished in Giallo Fly with contrasting black leather interior, and it described by the vendor as in good condition throughout. It features the 5.3 litre V8 engine and comes from the personal collection of one of Italy's prime coachbuilding families. A fine combination of Italian chassis and styling with Detroit muscle. This coupe was constructed by ATL Autotecnica del Lario of Como in 1968, based around an experimental OSCA prototype called a 1500 SP which was developed by OSCA to take part in the Le Mans 24 Hours Race. The design, materials employed and measurements were taken from an original OSCA chassis. The mechanical components, such as the close ratio four speed gearbox, differential and front and rear suspension are from the OSCA 1500 S, whilst the disc brakes come from Girling. Fed by twin Weber carburettors, the OSCA type 118000 twin overhead camshaft, four cylinder, 1,500cc engine develops over 100bhp at 6,000rpm and was serviced by Mondial in Bologna in 2005, a specialist for these OSCA units. Following the 1500S, OSCA decided to offer a road car and the natural engine choice was a 1,600-cc version of the engine developed for Fiat. Subsequently, Zagato was contracted to design the coachwork and two versions were built: a normal roof design, as well as one of the prettiest cars of the era, the so-called double bubble coupes. These cars, with their thoroughbred racing engines and nimble chassis, were among the best-looking road/race cars of their time. The 1600 GT was bodied by five different coachbuilders, with the most attractive and numerous being that of Zagato. With four wheel disc brakes, fully independent suspension, a strong and light ladder tube frame, and a smooth and flexible engine, it provided everything that was required for success in racing and on the road. This exceptional, fully restored and original 'double bubble' example was prepared by Auto Classic of Turin in 2003 and registered to Fabrizio Violatti, thereafter forming part of an important private collection. The car's all-alloy coachwork remains in fine condition and the engine has been rebuilt by a marque specialist in Belgium. Finished in Red with black/red interior, this 1600 GT Zagato comes complete with Belgian registration documents and original Italian papers. Historically important, this represents a superb opportunity to acquire one of these rare Zagato vehicles, of which only 98 were ever produced. Lot 203 Registration Number: EU registered Chassis Number: 3T12U519094 As many of the American car models, the Mercury Comet had a comparatively long lifespan in its different incarnations, being produced by Ford from 1960 until 1977 as a "compact" saloon with a relatively small in-line 6-cylinder Thriftpower engine with a displacement of some 144 ci and a power output of 90 bhp. Sharing most of its underpinnings with the less luxurious Ford Falcon, the Comet had a slightly longer wheelbase and more luxurious trim as well as air conditioning, as was felt suitable for Ford's in-house luxury division, Mercury. Gearbox options included either a Three- or Four-Speed Manual as well as a Two-Speed Automatic option. It is believed that this beautiful example was first delivered to Italy to its first owner, an American businessman, who used the car for a few years before storing it in a well-aired, dry garage for the years to come. Upon its rediscovery it still was in such excellent condition that all it needed was a service which entailed the changing of all fluids and oils, fitment of a fresh set of tires as well as a new battery and a thorough polish and interior clean. The light green metallic paint looks fresh as does the interior and engine bay. Once again a true timewarp and the chance to own a stylish piece of Americana without the exorbitant fuel consumption of many of the V8-powered offerings.
