The Ferrari California has been given its official global debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.

The bright red Ferrari California is the first car from the Italian car maker to have an electrically-folding metal roof - and it's amazingly quick, folding from open to fully closed in just 15 seconds and then dropping back down again in the same amount of time.

BMW has taken the wraps of its latest SUV offering at the Paris Motor Show - the BMW Concept X1.

The new Seat Ibiza Cupra could pose some serious competition to the Vauxhall Corsa VXR and Renault Clio 197 as the most hardcore supermini hot hatch of them all.

This is thanks to a supercharged and turbocharged 1.4-litre engine which gives the Seat Ibiza Cupra 178bhp - 9bhp less than the 140mph Vauxhall.
