normal duties of a studio photographer. ProStockMaster makes stock photography fit for me. It helps
me organize and upload my images, cutting my workload in half for stock. Before ProStockMaster
I had allowed my image uploads to drop off dramatically. I am now able to upload images without taking away from
my other work. ProStockMaster is an awesome organizer and time saver!”

ugly interface that was obviously ported from windows. I couldn’t get past this to try it out.

Has anyone tried it? Or have any suggestions of products against which to compare? This one is really intriguing but not something I’m prepared to drop $50 on without some feedback from the community.

@kit: You are right, the interface is bad. I tried to improve just the look of it with a different skin, but you still have that Windows layout going on. You have to click the + signs to get to your folder, but it doesn’t remember that folder when you reopen the application, so you have to plus your way to the folder each time. It also doesn’t remember the skin you chose, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to set your preferences. I really wanted to like this, but I’m having a hard time working with it. Not that I CAN’T work with it, but how badly do I want to? Not badly enough, I guess.
Also, on my computer, the thumbnails don’t show up in the right side, just the file names, so you have to click each image to see the photo. I don’t know if it’s my computer or the application.
I was looking forward to this since we had the short-lived notice to preview it in our MacZot accounts a week or two ago. I Googled for other apps like this, but found none. Lots and lots of ads for ProStockMaster, that’s it. Hey, some Mac developer! Gaping hole here!

Yes, it’s too bad this doesn’t look/work better. My brief try convinced me this could be a great thing to have, but I agree with Robin that a good Mac developer needs to take this concept and run with it. I’m also curious to know if anyone is having luck selling via those micro-stock sites. I sort of doubt that’s worth the time.

While I was Googling, I came across this article about selling photos online and I thought it had some good information and covered all aspects (not that I know, because I haven’t done it): http://www.perrush.be/SYF_micro_E_1.html
