Yeh IDeology is a leader in Design recruiting. We place full-time and freelance designers for top clients throughout the United States.

Our client, a highly respected multi-disciplinary design consultancy, is looking to add a Senior and Lead Designer to their team. You will be leading junior designers who embraces good design as the path to solve our client’s challenges.
You will be the person we look to for fresh and over arching ideas that ignite your team’s sense of creativity and purpose. It’s your vision and ultimately, as Senior Designer and Lead Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring your design fits the client’s business objectives and budget. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our internal engineering team to move your concepts into production.

Specific Skills

Specific Skills
* Degree in Industrial Design (BID or MID)
* 6-10 years experience designing in the consumer products, hardware, high-tech and houseware categories.
* Proven concept exploration sketching and presentation skills
* Proven understanding of research and how it implements the design process
* Solid verbal communication skills – both internally and with clients
* Problem Solving
* Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Ashlar Vellum
* 3D modeling skills – Rhino, Alias, ProEngineer and/or Solidworks
* Strong sketching abilities and a good 3D sense
* Proficiency in generating full detailed technical drawings and prototyping
* Be able to handle fast-paced environment
* Reports to Design Manager for creative direction
