Fractal Art: Complex and Beautiful Color Inspiration

colourlovers.com — Even though I hate math … I love what can be created using geometric patterns. While there seems to be many different styles of art that fit under the umbrella name of a Fractal, what I found when I went looking for more information about them was a treasure trove of amazing art.

There are some absolutely amazing ones out there. It runs like an organism that is always evolving. It also changes the fractals based on your thumbs up or thumbs down by rating each fractal with a simple press of the arrow up or down keys. Gotta check it out!

My friend and i have been using math to try and equate perfect color combinations using various factors... we have been trying to prove that math has taste as good as a human when it comes to a human brain and that the brain uses complex queries to determine what is good and what is bad... We are still in the early stages but we will be publishing our results very soon at http://www.color-chart.org so keep your eyes open for it :)
